Spencer Floyd Accepts Position as Loan Officer with AgSouth Farm Credit

STATESBORO, GA (September 1, 2018): AgSouth Farm Credit Regional Business Development Manager Al Baldwin announced that Spencer Floyd has accepted a position as a loan officer with AgSouth Farm Credit. Floyd has been a marketing specialist with AgSouth for the past two years, where he assisted in growing the association’s portfolio in the northernmost regions of AgSouth’s territory in both Georgia and South Carolina. He will remain in Camden, S.C., where he will focus on developing more personal relationships with the ag and rural communities in Richland, Kershaw and Fairfield counties.

Floyd-Spencer-2016.jpgFloyd graduated from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in August of 2015 with a focus in management and marketing. While in college, Spencer interned at AgFirst Farm Credit Bank in Columbia, South Carolina, in the Human Resources and Professional Training and Development Departments. He has been with AgSouth since October of 2016.

Baldwin says that Floyd "has been very instrumental in developing our branding across two states for the past two years. He has been vital to the success of the association and will now bring that knowledge and expertise to focus on developing new relationships and growing AgSouth’s portfolio in the Camden area."


AgSouth Farm Credit provides loans for land, equipment and production agriculture; crop insurance; leasing; and home mortgages. The association is headquartered in Statesboro, Ga.
