STATESBORO, Ga. (October 27, 2017): Al Baldwin, Regional Vice President of AgSouth Farm Credit, announced that Todd Mahon has joined the cooperative as a relationship manager in the Laurens, S.C., office. Laurens serves Abbeville, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, and McCormick counties.
Mahon has been serving the financial industry since 1994. He comes to AgSouth from TD Bank – Upstate SC, where he was employed from 2006 until he joined AgSouth. He most recently served as vice president and as a commercial relationship manager of the bank.
Mahon graduated from Clemson in 1992 with a business management degree and went on to further his expertise in lending by graduating from the National Commercial lending School at Southern Methodist University, the Commercial Lending School at East Carolina University, Wachovia Consumer Lending School, NBSC Retail Credit School, and the Wyatt Institute of Real Estate.
Mahon was born and raised in Laurens County and still lives there with his wife and children. The family has a small cattle farm in the Greenpond community. An active member of the Laurens community, Mahon is a graduate of Leadership Laurens County and a past board chairman of the United Way of Laurens County and the Laurens County Touchdown Club. He also served on the boards of Laurens County First Steps and the Good Shepherd Free Medical Clinic, where he served as treasurer. He has also been involved with organizations like the Laurens County Friends of Scouting and the Clinton Economic Development Committee.

Baldwin says, “Todd brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of business development and finance, and also has hands-on farming experience. He will be a strong addition to the association’s staff as we strive to grow our business, and we welcome Todd to the AgSouth team.”
