AgSouth Farm Credit is an agriculture and rural lender serving customers across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. We provide loans for land, farms, and homes; including, financing for farmland, agricultural operations big and small, country homes, and recreational acreage. AgSouth also offers farm services such as crop insurance and leasing to support the needs of farmers.
Our customers represent a wide range of agriculture industries and operations from poultry, timber, and cattle to row crops, produce, nurseries, and other agriculture businesses. We also work with landowners, rural residents, and hobby farmers who are building a life in the country or investing in rural property.
As part of the Farm Credit System, AgSouth combines local lending expertise with a strong understanding of rural communities, agriculture, and financing acreage.

AgSouth Farm Credit announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a record patronage distribution of approximately $71.2 million to its customers. This marks the largest cash distribution in the Association’s history, representing roughly 70% of AgSouth’s 2025 net income.
