What if I don't want to sign up for direct deposit for patronage?

AgSouth will no longer print physical patronage checks. If you would like to receive your patronage distribution, you must fill out the direct deposit form or an additional form to apply the funds to your principal balance. Unclaimed patronage funds will be distributed to the state after a certain period of time. 

Can you apply it to my principal instead? 

Applying funds to your loan requires a separate form to be filled out. The fastest way to apply patronage to your loan balance is by filling out the direct deposit authorization and using the Digital Banking platform to make a special principal payment.

Does everyone on the loan have to sign off on direct deposit?

Yes, everyone involved in the loan must consent to receiving patronage via direct deposit.

What if a co-borrower on the loan is now deceased?

Please contact your local branch immediately. There are several steps involved for deceased borrowers.

1.  Sponsor
AgSouth Farm Credit, ACA (“AgSouth” or “Sponsor”), 146 Victory Ln. Statesville, NC 28625

2.  Promotion Period
The AgSouth Farm Credit ACH Patronage Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on August 24, 2026 at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on October 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s computer and records are the official timekeeping devices for the Sweepstakes.

3.  Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open to individuals who, as of the end of the Promotion Period, meet all of the following conditions:
•    Are at least eighteen (18) years of age;
•    Are legal residents of the State of Georgia, the State of South Carolina, or the State of North Carolina; and
•    Are members of AgSouth Farm Credit, ACA who are eligible to receive a patronage distribution from AgSouth at any time in the future, whether or not any patronage distribution has been declared or paid to date.

Where the AgSouth member is a corporation, partnership, limited liability company, trust, estate, or other legal entity, the entity may designate one (1) individual who is authorized to act on the entity’s behalf to serve as the entrant, and any prize will be awarded and reported to the member entity, not to the individual designee.

The following persons are not eligible to enter or win: directors, officers, and employees of AgSouth Farm Credit, ACA and its affiliates; any person or entity involved in the administration, promotion, or fulfillment of this Sweepstakes; and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members of any of the foregoing, whether or not related.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law. This Sweepstakes is void wherever prohibited or restricted by federal, state, or local law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

4.  There Is No Cost to Enroll in ACH Patronage
Enrollment in ACH patronage is free. AgSouth charges no fee, cost, or consideration of any kind to enroll in ACH patronage, to remain enrolled, or to receive patronage distributions by ACH rather than by check. Enrollment is not a condition of entering or winning this Sweepstakes, and enrollment will not improve any entrant’s chances of winning.

5.  How to Enter
There are two (2) ways to enter. Both methods have an equal chance of winning. Limit one (1) entry per eligible member, regardless of the number of loans, accounts, or relationships that member has with AgSouth, and regardless of the method of entry used. Duplicate entries will be consolidated into a single entry.

(a)  Automatic entry through ACH patronage enrollment. Any eligible member who is enrolled in ACH patronage as of 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 31, 2026 will automatically receive one (1) entry. This includes members who enrolled in ACH patronage before the start of the Promotion Period, who need take no further action to be entered.

(b)  Free alternative method of entry (no enrollment required). Any eligible member may enter without enrolling in ACH patronage by submitting the following information:
•    Full name
•    Telephone number
•    Email address
•    AgSouth loan number

by either of the following means:

Mail:  AgSouth Farm Credit, ACA, 146 Victory Lane, Statesville, NC 28625, Attention: Sweepstakes

Email entries must be received by, and mailed entries must be postmarked by and received no later than five (5) business days after, 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 31, 2026. Mailed entries must be handwritten or typed on a separate piece of paper. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, or postage-due entries, or for any failure of email or postal delivery.

6.  Prize
One (1) prize will be awarded: One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) in cash. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $1,000.00. Total ARV of all prizes: $1,000.00.

The prize is non-transferable. No substitution of the prize will be made. If the represented prize becomes unavailable, Sponsor will deliver a prize of the same represented value in accordance with applicable law. The winner is responsible for all costs and expenses not expressly described above.

7.  Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

8.  Drawing, Notification, and Claim
The winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received, to be conducted by Sponsor or its designee on or about November 9, 2026. Sponsor’s selection is final and binding in all respects.

The potential winner will be notified by telephone, email, and/or mail using the contact information associated with the entry, within 1 business days after the drawing. The potential winner must respond and complete all required documentation within 3 days of the date of first notification attempt. If the potential winner cannot be reached, fails to respond within the stated period, declines the prize, is found ineligible, or fails to return required documentation, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at random from among the remaining eligible entries, time permitting.

The prize will be delivered to the winner at no expense to the winner within ten (10) days after Sponsor represents to the winner that the winner has won, and receipt of the prize is not conditioned on any obligation of any kind. No handling, redemption, delivery, service, or other fee of any kind will be charged in connection with the prize.

9.  Tax Information Is Required
Tax reporting information will be required as a condition of receiving the prize. The winner must complete and return an IRS Form W-9 (or such other tax documentation as Sponsor may reasonably require) before the prize is delivered. Failure to provide the required tax information within the time specified in Section 8 will result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.

The prize will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service on IRS Form 1099-MISC where required. All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. AgSouth is not providing, and nothing in these Official Rules constitutes, tax advice. Winners should consult their own tax advisors.
Sponsor may be required to apply backup withholding to the prize if the winner fails to furnish a correct taxpayer identification number.

10.  Relationship to Patronage
The prize is a promotional award and is not a patronage distribution, a patronage refund, a per-unit retain allocation, or any other distribution of cooperative equity. The prize is not based on, and does not vary with, the amount of any member’s business with AgSouth. Entry, participation, and winning have no effect on any member’s patronage, loan terms, pricing, eligibility for credit, or any other aspect of the member’s relationship with AgSouth. Nothing in this Sweepstakes alters any requirement that members receive patronage distributions by ACH.

11.  Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of the winner’s name, city, and state for promotional purposes without further compensation. Sponsor will not publish or disclose any account number, loan number, or other confidential member information.

12.  Privacy
Information submitted in connection with this Sweepstakes will be used by Sponsor for administration of the Sweepstakes and otherwise in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy. Entry information will not be sold to third parties.

13.  Release and Limitation of Liability
By entering, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, network, telephone, or other failures of any kind.

14.  General Conditions
By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. These Official Rules will not be changed after the Sweepstakes begins. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or acts in violation of these Official Rules or applicable law.
If for any reason the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as planned, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion and subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes and to award the prize by random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment.

15.  Winner List and Copies of Rules
