Joseph Branch Joins AgSouth Farm Credit in Greenville, Georgia

GREENVILLE, GA. (July 31, 2019): AgSouth Farm Credit Regional Business Development Manager Nick Martin announced that Joseph Branch has joined the Greenville, Georgia, office as a loan officer trainee.

Branch recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in agriculture with a focus on agribusiness. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in agribusiness.
Branch grew up on a small family farm around Warm Springs, Georgia, and was very involved in the FFA at Manchester High School. After graduation, he studied at ABAC and worked for Horse Creek Winery, dealing with everything from sales and events to muscadine production and wine making.
During his time at UGA, Branch was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity (ag fraternity) and helped manage the vet school’s cattle research and teaching farm.
His family has a long history in Meriwether County, with his late father being in law enforcement and education, and his mother being retired from the school system. His paternal grandfather (Dan Branch) was the Sheriff of Meriwether County for 28 years. Branch has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Warm Springs for many years and looks forward to getting involved in the community again.
