AgSouth Welcomes Jackson Thornton as Loan Officer

Rock Hill, SC.: (June 10, 2024): AgSouth Farm Credit Regional Lending Manager Spencer Floyd has announced that he is excited to have Jackson Thornton at AgSouth as the newest Loan Officer in the Rock Hill, SC branch office.

Jackson is from Crozet, Virgina and recently graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and minor in Economics from the Martha & Spencer Love School of Business. Jackson was a lending intern for the 2023 summer with AgSouth and “loved every second.” He is looking forward to returning to the AgSouth team!

Jackson will serve farmers in the counties serviced by the Rock Hill branch. These counties include Chester, Lancaster and York Counties.

According to Floyd, Rock Hill and its surrounding area is a high growth sector in South Carolina. “We have loan programs for land, farms and homes that meet the needs of this market. Jackson’s internship and work experience with AgSouth while finishing his degree at Elon provides him with a strong background to understand and serve the needs of our customer base.
