AgSouth Welcomes Kyndal Hopwood as Douglas Loan Officer
Douglas, GA (June 9, 2025): AgSouth Farm Credit Regional Lending Manager Stacy Nobles has announced that he is excited to have Kyndal Hopwood at AgSouth as the newest Loan Officer in the Douglas, GA branch office.
Kyndal joins AgSouth after 25 years as a Federal Loan Officer for USDA-Farm Service Agency. A lifelong resident of Coffee and Atkinson Counties, she has spent her life immersed in agriculture, the heart of the local community. From working on her family's farm as a teenager and operating scales at a local cotton gin to a career serving farmers as a lender with FSA, Kyndal is committed to agriculture and her community. She states, “My deep understanding of rural communities and agricultural finance has allowed me to support local farmers, ranchers, and businesses through every economic climate. I am proud to be a part of the AgSouth family and am excited to grow and connect with others who share the same love for agriculture.”
Kyndal will serve farmers and landowners in the counties covered by the Douglas Branch, working alongside local lenders Chet Ellis and Chad Guthrie. These counties include Atkinson, Coffee, and Jeff Davis.
According to Nobles, “Farm operations in Southeast Georgia are important to our local communities and the agriculture industry in our state. Farming is hard work and a high-risk business. Kyndal’s local ties, extensive background in agricultural lending, personal experience in farming and strong customer service will make her a valuable addition to our team.”
