AgSouth Welcomes Liz Taylor as North Carolina Crop Insurance Agent
Fletcher, NC: (September 4, 2025): AgSouth Farm Credit Crop Insurance Manager Sandra Meeks has announced that she is excited to have Liz Taylor at AgSouth as the newest Crop Insurance agent in the Fletcher, NC branch office. With a strong background in insurance and a deep-rooted passion for serving the agricultural community, Liz brings both experience and heart to her new role.

Liz has lived in Hendersonville, North Carolina for most of her adult life, having grown up in Aurora, Colorado. She earned her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Blue Ridge Community College and holds both a North Carolina Insurance License and Non-resident Insurance Licenses for multiple states. Her career has been dedicated to crop insurance, and she is known for her commitment to helping farmers protect their operations and navigate risk with confidence.
“I have a passion for working with our farm community,” Liz shared. “I’m excited to be part of a knowledgeable team that truly cares about one another and is committed to delivering the best service possible to our farmers and clients.”
Outside of work, Liz is a proud mother of two sons and one daughter, and a grandmother to five wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family at sporting events, dance recitals, and band concerts—and they especially love trips to the beach and Disney.
According to Meeks, “Farm operations and commodities grown in the Mountain region of North Carolina are important to the agriculture industry in North Carolina. Farming is hard work and a high-risk business. Our full-time agents work closely with farmers and our lenders to offer insurance that can protect farmers against uncertainty. Liz’s local ties and strong customer service will make her a valuable addition to our crop insurance team.”
Liz will work out of the AgSouth branch office in Fletcher, NC while she serves several surrounding counties. Those counties include Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, and Transylvania Counties.
