AgSouth Farm Credit Announces 2020 Board of Director and Nominating Committee Results

STATESBORO, Ga (October 12, 2020) – AgSouth Farm Credit CEO Pat Calhoun announced the winners of the 2020 Board of Director and Nominating Committee Election.

AgSouth Farm Credit is a member-owned cooperative and relies on their members to help build the leadership that serves them. Open Director seats and the Nominating Committee are voted for by eligible stockholders during the Annual Meeting. This year’s Annual Meeting was held live online via teleconference on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Eligible stockholders had until October 6 to submit their ballot by mail or online.  For more on AgSouth’s election process please visit our leadership page.

The 2020 Director Election results are as follows:

Region 3 Seat 1 - Jonathan Mann
Jonathan Mann has been the owner and operator of Jonathan Mann Farms for 14 years. He has been a member of AgSouth for six years and currently resides in Surrency, Georgia.
 
Region 3 Seat 2 - Lee DeLoach (incumbent)
Lee DeLoach is a retired Probate Judge and resides in Statesboro, Georgia. He has been a member of AgSouth for 35 years and has served on the Board for the past 18 years.
 
Region 4 Seat 1 - William Robinson (incumbent)
William Robinson is the owner and operator of Robinson Family Farm and resides in St. Matthews, South Carolina. He has been a member of AgSouth for 23 years and has served on the Board for the past nine years.

The nominating committee slate was elected as presented.

Region 2 - J. Emmett Collins, Jr., Thomas Vanhuss
Region 2 Alternatives - Wesley Ham, Kenneth Chapman

Region 3 Alternatives – Jack Brannen, Jr., Don Burke
Region 4 – Adair McKoy IV, Bryan Dantzler
Region 4 Alternatives -  F.H. Dicks III, Bates Houck
