Nestled in the foothills of North Carolina sits Knob Creek Orchard, owned and operated by Jeff Crotts.

Hickory Nut Gap Farm has grown to feature a restaurant, catering, and a retail store and meat shop all on their farm in Fairview. Amy Ager is the co-owner.

This fourth generation family farm teems with both family members and workers who oversee a plethora of agritourism activities with a thriving produce operation.

The vineyard is part of the Redgrave’s 75-acre property that is nestled in the popular western North Carolina tourist region and near the Tryon International Equestrian Center. 

Luke Weavil is co-owner of Weavil Farms in Kernersville, North Carolina, where he farms with his father Tim and brother Jake.

The cattle initially sparked her interest in agriculture; however, she says the farmers inspired her passion for the dairy industry.

Armed with the opportunity and the drive to succeed, Alan Smith took over his family farm in 1972.

Most people rarely find the time to balance the work of farm life and family life. Scott “JD” Sink has managed to master the art of balancing farm life, family life, and a full time career as well.
